Home and Away Exit Spoilers 14–18 September 2026: Dana and Harper Leave Summer Bay

Home and Away delivers two major departures during 14–18 September 2026 as Harper decides she must leave Summer Bay with Archie and Dana makes the emotional choice to go with her. Their decision sends shockwaves through several relationships and leaves Tane and Sonny struggling with very different losses.

Harper explains to Tane that Beau being in prison does not mean Archie will always be safe. Drawing on her experience of women who have been forced to disappear to escape abusive men, Harper believes leaving the Bay completely may be the only way to ensure Beau cannot find them after his eventual release.

Tane insists he can protect Harper and Archie if they remain close to him. Harper knows that is not a realistic guarantee and refuses to gamble with her son’s future simply because leaving will hurt.

Dana is already facing a major decision of her own. After another difficult conversation with Sonny, she ends their relationship and tells him she is moving out because she is exhausted by the repeated lies.

When Harper reveals she is leaving, Dana decides to go too. She remembers that Harper originally came to Summer Bay to support her and believes it is now her turn to stand beside her sister.

The departure leads to several emotional goodbyes. Dana tells John she is leaving and he breaks down as they hug, telling her how highly he thinks of her and reminding her that he will always be there.

Sonny also has to accept that Dana is not simply moving out but leaving Summer Bay altogether. Their final embrace makes clear they still love each other, but Dana believes love is no longer enough to repair the trust between them.

Tane’s goodbye to Archie is equally painful. He hands him back to Harper before driving away, knowing his relationship with the little boy he considers his own has suddenly become far more complicated.
