Home and Away Catch-Up as Eden's Anniversary Ends in Anger and Dylan Arrives in Summer Bay

Eden and Cash's first wedding anniversary was overshadowed by family secrets in Home and Away during the UK episodes airing 19–23 October, while Marilyn received a heartbreaking letter from Zane and Lacey struggled with memories of Theo.

Coming this week, Dylan makes an unexpected arrival, Justin's secret about Richie is exposed and Eden's family attempts to repair their relationships.

Eden's Anniversary Ends in a Family Argument

Eden organised a surprise anniversary celebration for Cash, enlisting Remi, Levi and Mackenzie to help. Cash was delighted by the romantic gesture and gave Eden tickets for a future trip around the world, offering them something positive to anticipate as she continues battling aplastic anaemia.

However, the celebration fell apart when Richie announced that he had returned to Summer Bay and reunited with Abigail. Eden was furious that her sister had kept the relationship secret, forcing Cash to intervene before the argument escalated.

Her frustration deepened when she discovered that Levi had also concealed his upcoming hand operation, with Mackenzie helping him keep the news quiet. Eden felt increasingly excluded from her siblings' lives and resented being treated differently because of her illness.

Coming this week, Cash confides in Melanie, whom he met through an aplastic anaemia support forum. Eden overhears their conversation and is pleased he has someone to support him, while Mackenzie and Abigail apologise for excluding her and reassure her that she remains an important part of their lives.

Marilyn Receives Zane's Goodbye Letter

Mali returned from visiting Zane in prison and reassured Marilyn that he was settling in, having even started working in the prison library. However, Mali had also brought back a letter and was uncertain whether delivering it would upset her.

After discussing the situation with Tane and Alf, the letter eventually reached Marilyn. Zane thanked her for everything she'd done but explained that he believed prison was where he belonged.

He also made clear that he wouldn't write again and wanted Marilyn to move forward with her life. The message devastated Marilyn, who had hoped to maintain a connection with him despite his imprisonment.

Lacey Struggles on the Anniversary of Theo's Death

The anniversary of Theo's death brought painful memories for Lacey, while Leah and Justin visited his grave. Jo returned early from specialist training, and David arranged a family lunch with Amelia in the hope of bringing everyone closer together.

Lacey remained uncomfortable about David's new relationship, although Amelia helped rescue the meal when Lacey accidentally burnt the dessert. David later thanked his daughter for making an effort, prompting Lacey to ask how he'd known he was ready to love again after losing someone.

She admitted that she hoped to experience another meaningful relationship one day, although moving forward without Theo remained difficult.

Sonny's Brother Dylan Arrives With a Secret

Sonny has reason to celebrate this week after holding down a job for six weeks and giving evidence against Beau. Remi is proud of his progress, although Sonny continues feeling guilty about his involvement in Tane's separation from Archie.

The celebrations are interrupted when Sonny's younger brother Dylan arrives unexpectedly from Western Australia. Having quit his job, Dylan wants Sonny to conceal the truth from their parents, explaining that he's tired of being treated as the family's successful child.

Remi points out Sonny's own secrets involving Dana, his spinal injury and steroid addiction. Sonny eventually agrees to help Dylan enjoy the gap year he never had and gives him somewhere to stay.

Dylan and Lacey Grow Closer

Dylan quickly takes an interest in Lacey, but their attraction becomes complicated when she freezes as he attempts to kiss her. She later confides in Jo and Amelia that she hasn't felt this way about anyone for a long time, with memories of Theo leaving her emotional.

Jo questions whether Lacey is ready for another relationship, while Amelia encourages her to make her own decision. Sonny also worries about Lacey's feelings and warns Dylan to stay away, knowing she still blames herself for Theo's death.

Despite their concerns, Lacey decides to take a chance and asks Dylan out on a date, marking an important step towards moving forward.

Justin's Secret About Richie Is Exposed

Justin and Leah have been allowing Richie to stay at their house, but Justin fears David's reaction when he discovers the arrangement. Richie is struggling to find paid employment and decides to apply for John's volunteer Bronze Medallion Course.

He initially abandons his interview when David appears, although Alf encourages him and John eventually offers him a place. Justin's secret is exposed when David visits the house and Richie answers the door.

Justin explains that Leah wanted to help Richie, and David accepts the explanation despite feeling betrayed. Lacey is shocked by the arrangement, while Amelia later challenges Justin and Leah over their decision to keep it secret.

Tane Misses Archie as Mali Enjoys a Night Out

Tane's plans to visit Archie were disrupted by emergency road closures, although John's encouragement helped him consider another route. Coming this week, Tane admits to Mali how difficult he finds leaving his son behind, despite being on better terms with Harper.

John makes matters worse by revealing that Archie is struggling, prompting Mali to challenge him before suggesting a night out. Mali later admits to Lacey that he had a one-night stand but insists the encounter came without expectations.

Levi's Recovery Creates Problems for Amelia

Levi undergoes surgery on his hand and begins recovering at home with Mackenzie's support. Although his mobility gradually improves, the pain and restrictions leave him frustrated, and he snaps at Amelia when she asks about his return to work.

He later apologises and explains that he expects to resume working in approximately six weeks. However, his recovery creates uncertainty for Amelia, whose temporary position could end when Levi returns.

Jo worries about Amelia's future in Summer Bay, particularly as her relationship with David develops. Amelia also finds photographs of David's late wife, while David apologises to Jo after Amelia stays overnight without him giving his daughter any warning.
