Home and Away: Beau Hammond uses Harper Matheson romance to control Sonny Baldwin

Home and Away UK viewers will see Beau Hammond use his relationship with Harper Matheson to increase the pressure on Sonny Baldwin in upcoming scenes. While Harper believes she is simply enjoying more time with her boyfriend, Beau is quietly using Sonny’s debt to get exactly what he wants.

Beau begins by asking Harper to make sure they still find time alone together now that Archie is back in town. Harper agrees, with no reason to suspect that Beau is already looking for a way to turn somebody else’s plans into an evening for them.

Dana and Sonny soon arrive home excited about a reservation at a fancy restaurant. Their enthusiasm gives Beau an opportunity, and he immediately pulls Sonny aside for a private conversation.

Beau turns the dinner into a payment

Beau reminds Sonny that he owes him money and insists that repayment needs to begin. Rather than asking for cash straight away, Beau orders Sonny to give him and Harper the restaurant reservation.

The demand places Sonny in an impossible position. Refusing Beau risks provoking him, but admitting the truth would force Sonny to explain the debt to Dana.

Sonny chooses another lie. He claims he has pushed himself too hard at the gym and no longer has the energy to go out, then encourages Dana to stay home with Archie while Beau and Harper take their place.

Harper appears unaware of how the evening was secured. From her perspective, Sonny is simply offering the reservation. In reality, Beau has used the debt to take something that was meant for Dana and Sonny.

How long can Beau keep Harper in the dark?

The restaurant booking reveals how easily Beau can move between two very different roles. Around Harper, he presents himself as a boyfriend who wants more private time with her. Around Sonny, he becomes demanding and controlling.

That contrast may become increasingly difficult to maintain. Harper is living close to both men, and Sonny’s growing desperation makes it more likely that the truth will surface.

Dana is already questioning why their plans changed so suddenly. If she discovers Beau was behind it, Harper may also be forced to ask what else her boyfriend has been hiding.

For now, Beau gets the evening he wanted. The bigger question is whether taking control of Sonny’s date will eventually expose the hold he has over him.
