Home and Away Amelia left disappointed as David cancels their date

Amelia is left disappointed in Home and Away when her growing romance with David hits another frustrating setback.

The pair have been getting closer despite the complications surrounding Lacey. Amelia has already challenged David over his reluctance to show affection publicly, while tensions with his daughter have made the relationship harder to navigate.

Things appear to be moving in a better direction when Amelia prepares for another evening with David. She gets ready for their dinner date and is looking forward to spending time with him away from the recent family tension.

Her plans are ruined when David is called away for work. He has to cancel because he is on duty, leaving Amelia dressed for an evening that is no longer happening.

The cancellation is not a rejection, but it still leaves Amelia disappointed after the effort she has made. Their relationship has already faced resistance from Lacey, and another obstacle means the couple once again struggle to find uncomplicated time together.
