Home and Away 28 Sep–2 Oct: Who Makes the Worst Call?
Zane refuses to fight back, Lacey apologises, Levi misses his surgery deadline, and Mackenzie faces a painful confession in Home and Away’s week ahead.
The biggest turns in Summer Bay come from decisions people make under pressure. Some bring relief, while others leave difficult consequences for the people closest to them.
Eden pushes herself to stay at a family gathering even though she is exhausted.
When she collapses, Cash and Levi rush to help, and Amelia later brings forward her transfusion. Eden improves enough to leave hospital, but doctors remain concerned about her treatment. Levi warns the family that her time could be limited if they cannot get the condition under control.
Mali decides to bring a blood drive to the Surf Club, giving Remi and Sonny something practical to do for Eden. Lacey helps promote it, and eligible people are encouraged to join the stem cell donor registry.
John initially avoids the event because he fears needles. With Mali’s support, he chooses to sit in the donation chair and gets through it.
Marilyn makes a far riskier choice after seeing how heavily Zane carries his guilt about Heidi. She contacts Heidi’s brother Austin using information from the paperwork sent to Zane.
Austin is furious and comes looking for him, eventually attacking Zane at home. Zane keeps his temper, allows the police to intervene and then decides not to press charges. Marilyn admits what she did, leaving Alf to challenge her judgement.
Lacey also has to decide how to handle David’s relationship with Amelia. She tells Amelia to keep away from her father and is especially upset when Amelia brings up her mother.
Lacey later apologises, while Amelia makes clear that she intends to keep seeing David. Their relationship moves forward, though David’s cancelled dinner date leaves Amelia disappointed.
Mackenzie’s choice is whether to tell Levi that their stored embryos have been destroyed. She hesitates because he is already worried about Eden and has just discovered that surgery on his hand is no longer possible.
Levi insists his sister must come first, but Mackenzie cannot keep the clinic’s news from him. Encouraged by Mali, she finally tells him what she has learned.
