Eden collapses, Summer Bay rallies to find a donor, Zane faces Austin, and Mackenzie receives devastating IVF news in Home and Away’s week ahead.
A family gathering, a community blood drive and a long-awaited conversation all take unexpected turns in Summer Bay. Here are ten moments from across the full week.
Eden tries to enjoy a meal with her family despite feeling exhausted. She suddenly collapses into Cash’s arms and struggles to breathe, leaving Levi rushing to help while Mackenzie calls an ambulance.
Levi later tells the family that Eden’s treatment does not appear to be working as hoped. He warns that, unless doctors can get her condition under control, she could have months.
Amelia brings forward Eden’s transfusion after her blood cell count drops. Eden improves enough to return home, but concerns about how the treatment is affecting her body make finding a stem cell donor even more urgent.
Mali organises a blood drive at the Surf Club, with Remi, Sonny and Lacey helping to spread the word. The event also gives eligible people the chance to join the stem cell donor registry.
John wants to support the effort but has spent years hiding his fear of needles. With Mali beside him, he finally manages to give blood.
Lacey tells Amelia to stay away from David and reacts badly when Amelia mentions her mother. She later apologises and manages a civil conversation with Amelia, although she still struggles with her father’s new relationship.
Amelia and David grow closer, but he remains wary of Lacey finding out when they are together. They arrange a dinner date, only for David to cancel while Amelia is already dressed and waiting.
Zane cannot give blood because he has not been out of prison long enough. He is hurt when he discovers Mali has explained his parole situation to Remi, adding to his fear that everyone sees him through his past.
Marilyn calls Austin, the brother of Zane’s victim, hoping to help. Austin arrives furious, says his sister still needs a carer and eventually confronts Zane at home.
Austin attacks Zane before David and the police intervene. Zane chooses not to press charges, while elsewhere Mackenzie learns that all her stored embryos have been destroyed.
Levi then discovers it is too late for surgery on his injured hand, leaving Mackenzie to break her own devastating news to him.
