Hollyoaks wedding twist as Imran makes confession to Leah

Leah is set to demand answers from Imran in Hollyoaks as another secret threatens to complicate the couple’s wedding preparations. After discovering that Imran has deleted a mysterious video, Leah wants to know exactly what her husband to be has been keeping from her.

Imran eventually comes clean and reveals that before he and Leah got together, he had wanted to marry another woman. The admission catches Leah by surprise, although his explanation appears to be enough for her to continue looking ahead to their wedding.

The confession comes at an awkward time for Leah, who is hiding a much bigger secret of her own. She has been secretly seeing Prince behind Imran’s back, despite remaining determined to go ahead with the marriage.

Prince is also still firmly involved in their lives as the ceremony approaches. He even spends time with Imran before the wedding, leaving Leah’s betrayal dangerously close to the man she is preparing to marry.

Ijaz Rana, who plays Imran, explains that his character sees his relationship with Leah as something secure. That makes the possibility of him discovering what has happened between Leah and Prince particularly significant.

There are further problems ahead when Vicky approaches Imran shortly before the ceremony. She tells him that he cannot get married, although the reason behind her intervention has not been revealed.

Imran then fails to appear when Leah reaches the altar, leaving his bride waiting and Ste trying to comfort his daughter. It remains unclear what has happened to Imran or whether the secrets surrounding the couple have finally become too much.

With Imran having now told Leah about his own past while remaining unaware of what she has been hiding, the balance between the couple could soon shift dramatically. Whether Leah and Imran actually make it through their wedding ceremony remains to be seen.
