Hollyoaks Ste steps in as Leah faces wedding heartbreak
Ste proudly walks Leah down the aisle, but the celebrations take an upsetting turn when Imran fails to appear and Leah is left waiting for him.
Ste is set to be there for Leah during an emotional moment in Hollyoaks when her wedding to Imran takes an unexpected turn. After proudly walking his daughter down the aisle, Ste is left comforting Leah when the groom fails to appear.
Leah and Imran have planned an elaborate multi faith ceremony, with friends and family gathering to watch them get married. For Ste, it is an especially emotional occasion as he gets the chance to accompany his grown up daughter down the aisle.
However, the mood quickly changes when Imran is a no show at the altar. Leah is left wondering whether her husband to be will arrive in time, while Ste steps in to console her as the uncertainty surrounding the ceremony grows.
The setback comes after an already complicated build up to the wedding. Leah has been secretly involved with Prince, while Imran has remained unaware of the betrayal as he prepares to marry her.
There is also a last minute intervention from Vicky, who stops Imran before the ceremony and tells him that he cannot get married. The reason behind her warning has not been revealed, leaving Leah with no idea what has happened when Imran then fails to appear.
Whether Imran eventually arrives and the ceremony can continue remains to be seen. For Leah, however, having Ste beside her could prove especially important as she faces an agonising wait at the altar.
