Hollyoaks spoilers for 26–28 October as Dee Dee’s love life spirals out of control

Romantic confusion and family secrets collide in Hollyoaks over the Halloween period, with Dee Dee struggling to understand her feelings for Abigail while Maddox hopes to win her back and Sienna and Leela both long for Tony’s attention.

Dee Dee cannot stop thinking about Abigail

Dee Dee’s decision to spend time with Abigail leads to trouble when she is caught sneaking in and her family discover she has been drinking. She tries to use Kathleen-Angel as an alibi, but Ant catches them in a lie and Tony bans Dee Dee from her party.

Sienna then misinterprets an argument between Dee Dee and Kathleen-Angel, telling Tony that his daughter might be confused about her feelings for Kathleen-Angel. Tony turns to Abigail for advice, while Dee Dee remains uncertain about where her own feelings will lead.

Maddox is determined to make things right with Dee Dee and gives her a heartfelt gift, but she is still preoccupied with Abigail. Trina’s interest in Maddox adds another complication, leaving his hopes of reconciliation far from straightforward.

A birthday message brings the family together

Ant, Ro and Dee Dee’s sixteenth birthday brings an emotional reminder of their late mum, Diane, when Tony plays a voice message she recorded before her death. Her advice touches the teenagers, and Tony changes his mind about Dee Dee attending the Halloween party.

Yet the celebrations do not end happily. The party at The Dog takes place against a backdrop of romantic tension, with Sienna and Leela both pining for Tony.

By the next morning, the Hutchinsons’ Halloween party has gone up in flames.

Warren faces two difficult situations

Warren wants to repair his relationship with Mercedes, but she continues to give him the cold shoulder. At the same time, Dodger is searching for Jenson and wonders whether Warren knows more about the disappearance. Theresa also asks Warren for help, while she and Dodger remain guarded with each other.

A DNA discovery threatens to unsettle Beth

Maddox receives a DNA match and discusses it with Caleb, who advises him to tell Beth. Before he can, Beth finds the letter herself and is left frantic.3

The mystery surrounding Ste continues

A village resident is determined to find out where Ste is being held. Lucas wakes in hospital to discover a familiar face who plans to contact the police with information about Ste’s disappearance, offering a potential new development in the search.

As the village deals with the consequences of the Halloween disaster, the questions surrounding Maddox’s DNA match and Ste’s disappearance leave several families facing an uncertain few days.
