Hollyoaks spoilers for 26–28 October as Beth discovers Maddox’s DNA secret

Hollyoaks has a turbulent few days ahead as secrets threaten to spill out, relationships become more complicated and the aftermath of a disastrous Halloween party leaves the Hutchinson family with plenty to deal with.

Beth finds Maddox’s DNA letter

Maddox receives a new DNA match and turns to his brother Caleb for advice. Caleb urges him to be open with Beth, but Maddox does not get the opportunity to tell her himself. Beth discovers the letter and is left frantic, raising immediate questions about what the match could mean.

Dee Dee’s feelings leave everyone confused

Dee Dee is caught sneaking in after spending time with Abigail, and her attempt to cover up her drinking by using Kathleen-Angel as an alibi backfires. Ant catches the girls lying, and Tony bans Dee Dee from her party.

Sienna subsequently misreads an argument between Dee Dee and Kathleen-Angel and suggests to Tony that his daughter may be confused about her feelings for Kathleen-Angel. Tony seeks Abigail’s advice, while Dee Dee herself struggles to work out what she wants.

Diane’s message changes the birthday mood

As Ant, Ro and Dee Dee prepare for their sixteenth birthday celebrations, Tony plays them a message recorded by their late mum, Diane. The emotional moment prompts him to let Dee Dee attend the Halloween party after all.

Maddox gives Dee Dee a heartfelt gift in the hope of making amends, but her attention remains on Abigail. Trina also has her eye on Maddox, adding another complication.

The Halloween party ends in disaster

The party at The Dog gets under way amid romantic tension, with Sienna and Leela both pining for Tony. By the following morning, the Hutchinsons’ Halloween party has gone up in flames, leaving the family facing the fallout.

New hope in the search for Ste?

A village resident is determined to uncover where Ste is being held. Lucas wakes in hospital to find a familiar face who intends to tell the police what she knows, potentially bringing new information into the mystery.

Dodger turns to Warren

Dodger is desperate to find Jenson and wonders whether Warren is involved in his disappearance. Theresa also asks Warren for help, but tension between her and Dodger remains as neither is willing to reveal all their cards.

Warren has his own relationship problems, with Mercedes continuing to give him the cold shoulder despite his efforts to make peace.

With a DNA discovery, family tensions and a possible breakthrough over Ste all unfolding alongside the Halloween chaos, there is no shortage of trouble in the village.
