Hollyoaks spoilers for 12–14 October see Gemma threaten Warren with the truth as Mercedes’ birthday gets off to a rocky start.
Mercedes’ birthday could not come at a more awkward time in Hollyoaks next week, with Gemma threatening Warren over the secret they already share.
Gemma turns to Warren for help, but she has some leverage of her own and threatens to tell Mercedes that the pair slept together. Mercedes is celebrating her birthday during the week, although her day gets off to a rocky start.
Warren is not the only villager being confronted by something he would rather keep contained. Dee Dee and Kathleen-Angel both realise that the other is hiding something, although the secrets they are carrying are very different.
Kathleen-Angel has secretly booked an appointment at a clinic and cancels her plans with Ant as she plans to terminate her pregnancy. Later, Theresa tells her that she has discovered she is infertile.
Dee Dee’s attention has turned to Abigail. Tony is reassured that Abigail will provide extra tuition to help Dee Dee improve her grades, but the pair secretly arrange their first date at a play in Manchester.
The plan begins to unravel when Abigail worries Dee Dee is not being careful enough and refuses to pick her up. Dee Dee has no money to get herself to Manchester and steals from Tony instead.
Concern grows when Dee Dee’s family fear she may have relapsed. She quizzes Sienna about when she realised she was attracted to women, while Ant later becomes aggressive after discovering Dee Dee has been drinking.
Dee Dee lashes out and the confrontation throws the family into turmoil. She then lies to Tony.
There are more family questions for Maddox, who reveals to Dee Dee that he has ordered a DNA test in the hope of finding relatives. Dodger, meanwhile, encourages Donny to face his problems rather than run away from them.
Away from the village, the search for Lucas takes an important turn. Leah remains adamant that Lucas is innocent, even as she flees hospital while injured and finds herself surrounded by content creators searching for the latest information.
Misbah finds Leah in The Dog still defending Lucas. Leah then spots a food vlogger’s social post which reveals that Lucas is hiding in Chester.
She asks Leela not to involve the police and wants to find Lucas herself, but Imran gets to him first. Imran spots Lucas at a food van and does not tell Leah before a chase unfolds between the pair.
Jenson later encourages Leah to take it easy on Imran as another turbulent week in the village continues.
