Hollyoaks’ Misbah fears Imran is hiding something at houseboat party
Misbah will become increasingly concerned about Imran as he and Leah celebrate their fresh start aboard the houseboat. The engaged couple invite their loved ones to a lavish housewarming party, but the happy occasion leaves Misbah convinced that her son is concealing how he truly feels.
The gathering is Leah’s idea after she decides that those around her could use some cheering up. She and Imran embrace their roles as hosts, welcoming friends and relatives aboard before standing together to lead a toast in front of the assembled guests.
Imran appears keen to focus on the future and delivers a speech praising Leah in front of the party. Although Misbah tries to be pleased for her son, she cannot shake the feeling that his cheerful appearance is hiding something more complicated beneath the surface.
Her concern grows as she watches Imran closely and decides that he is not behaving like his usual self. The precise reason for his unusual manner has not been revealed, but Misbah’s instincts suggest that his apparent happiness may not tell the full story.
Imran has also been pulled into the difficulties surrounding Leah, Prince and Vicky. Vicky has become suspicious of Prince’s behaviour and privately suggested to Imran that her boyfriend could be having an affair with Leah, placing another uncomfortable issue in the middle of the celebrations.
With Misbah alert to a change in her son and serious accusations beginning to circulate among the guests, the housewarming may struggle to remain a simple celebration. Imran and Leah are presenting a united front, but the people closest to them are already beginning to question what is happening behind closed doors.
