Hollyoaks' Jonah drops huge family bombshell as Caleb plans to leave the village

Jonah Keane's desperate bid to stop his son Caleb leaving the village takes a dramatic turn in upcoming Hollyoaks scenes, as he finally reveals a major family secret that he's kept hidden for years.

Caleb has always dreamed of travelling the world and believes now is the perfect opportunity to leave. However, Jonah cannot bear the thought of his son walking away, leading him to make a confession that could change everything Caleb thought he knew about his family.

The revelation comes during Debbie's birthday celebrations, where Jonah hopes bringing everyone together will convince Caleb to stay. Despite organising a family barbecue, it quickly becomes clear the event is not going to plan.

Beth is already struggling after realising her anxiety medication has disappeared, leaving Jonah increasingly concerned that the party is slipping away from him. With tensions rising and Caleb still determined to leave, Jonah decides he has no option but to reveal the truth.

While Hollyoaks is keeping the exact details of Jonah's secret under wraps for now, it is described as something he has managed to keep hidden for years. The bombshell appears to be Jonah's final attempt to persuade Caleb that his future belongs in the village rather than travelling abroad.
