Emmerdale’s Sadie targets Caleb in plan to destroy Ruby
Sadie sets her sights on Caleb as Joe recruits her to help destroy Ruby and the Milligans in a dangerous Emmerdale revenge plot.
Joe is stepping up his revenge campaign against Caleb and Ruby in Emmerdale, with Sadie recruited to help tear the couple apart. Still blaming them for their part in fiancée Dawn’s death, Joe asks Sadie to spy on the Milligans and find evidence he can use against them.
Sadie quickly comes up with a much more personal plan. She decides she will attempt to seduce Caleb, convinced she can drive a wedge between him and Ruby despite Joe warning her just how strong their relationship has become.
Cain also warns Caleb that Sadie could destroy his life, but Caleb appears confident he can handle her. With Sadie equally certain that she can tempt him, the pair look set for a dangerous battle of wills as Joe watches his revenge scheme unfold.
The storyline puts Caleb and Ruby’s marriage under fresh pressure after everything they have already survived together. Emmerdale producer Sophie Roper described them as one of the soap’s “most powerful couples”, but warned that Joe bringing Sadie into his plans creates a dangerous new dynamic.
Whether Caleb really is too smart to fall for Sadie remains to be seen. If she succeeds, Joe could finally have exactly what he needs to rip the Milligans apart from the inside.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 8pm on ITV1 and STV, with episodes available from 7am on ITVX, STV Player and YouTube.
