Emmerdale Spoilers: 9 to 14 August
Emmerdale preview for 9 to 14 August as Charity confronts Dr Todd, Dawn and Billy plan their escape, and Kev reconnects with Lewis.
Charity comes face to face with her abuser, Dr Todd, at Jacobs Fold and refuses to back down. She publicly brands him a rapist, but Dr Todd retaliates by threatening to reveal her secret to Sarah as someone quietly enters the building during their confrontation.
Charity becomes desperate to prevent Sarah from discovering the truth about baby Leyla. The revelation that Leyla is not Sarah’s biological child and is biologically Jacob’s threatens to turn another villager’s life completely upside down.
Meanwhile, Billy continues insisting that Joe was responsible for attacking him, leaving Dawn increasingly troubled. Billy proposes that they run away from the village with the children, but Dawn feels trapped as she considers the consequences of abandoning their current lives.
Caleb is frustrated when Billy clears Joe’s name with the police, but Billy explains that he has a reason for doing so. He reveals his escape plan and asks Caleb for help, while Dawn becomes increasingly excited as Billy begins putting their plans into action.
Dawn later tells Billy that Joe’s upcoming stag do could provide the perfect opportunity for them to flee. She invites Billy to stay at Home Farm beforehand as the pair prepare to make their escape together.
Kev attempts to rebuild his relationship with his absent father, Lewis, and is surprised to learn that he cannot ride a bike. Kev offers to teach him, but the lesson ends in disaster when they both crash to the ground.
The father and son later spend time cloud-watching, where Lewis makes a personal confession to Kev. However, Kev soon faces another problem when Ruby asks him to carry out a shady job.
Dylan continues struggling emotionally, prompting April to encourage her boyfriend to consider counselling. Bear also shares some thoughtful advice with Dylan, who is grateful for the support.
