Emmerdale unveils major new storylines for Charity, Gabby, Dawn, Sarah, Serena and Sadie

ITV has confirmed six of Emmerdale’s leading women will take centre stage in an emotional new chapter for the soap, with Charity, Gabby, Dawn, Sarah, Serena and returning favourite Sadie all facing life changing moments.

The broadcaster has revealed that the coming months will focus on “Women of Power and Peril”, as family secrets, dangerous feuds and impossible decisions threaten to reshape the village.

Each of the six women will find themselves at the centre of powerful storylines that are expected to have lasting consequences, while new alliances are formed and old rivalries are reignited.

Gabby’s future looks especially uncertain as she struggles to keep everything under control. ITV has revealed the pressure will severely impact her health, placing her life at risk before a terrible incident leaves her facing a moral decision that could destroy the lives of those she loves.

Charity also faces an emotional battle as she desperately tries to protect her family. However, she soon becomes caught in a web of lies that threaten to tear her world apart, leading to a confession that rocks the village to its core.

Returning fan favourite Sadie is set to make an immediate impact following her long awaited comeback. ITV has confirmed she arrives with a clear agenda before revealing a startling secret that leaves residents reeling. Her return is expected to spark fresh conflict as old rivalries quickly resurface.

Dawn’s future is equally uncertain as her big day approaches. Rather than enjoying a fresh start, she finds herself trapped in the middle of a bitter feud. Forced into an impossible situation, Dawn must choose between the life she has built and the future she hopes for.

Sarah’s story is also set to intensify as she struggles to keep everything together. With the truth surrounding Leyla’s parentage threatening to emerge, ITV has suggested Sarah’s world could come crashing down if the secret is finally exposed.

Meanwhile, Serena finds herself caught in an increasingly volatile situation. As tensions continue to rise, she must decide how much she is willing to sacrifice in order to protect the secrets that could affect those around her.

Although each storyline centres on a different character, they are all expected to have consequences across the wider village as families become increasingly intertwined. ITV has described the coming months as one of the soap’s most dramatic periods, with several long running stories building towards major turning points.
