Emmerdale spoilers as Dave pulls a gun on Chas after Liam’s mistake

Liam’s assumption that Dave is part of a game leaves him dangerously unprepared for what is really happening in Emmerdale. What begins with a misunderstanding soon becomes a frightening confrontation, with Marlon knocked unconscious and Chas facing a gun threat.

The crisis follows an already uncomfortable development for Liam, who returns from a medical conference with Manpreet only to find Chas accusing them of having an affair.

Chas accuses Liam and Manpreet of an affair

Liam returns from a medical conference with Manpreet, but their arrival does not go smoothly. Chas accuses the pair of having an affair, leaving both of them shocked by the allegation.

Liam later tries to work out a clue Chas has left behind. When Dave knocks at the door, Liam makes a crucial mistake by assuming that Dave is part of Chas’s game.

Liam allows Dave to tie him up, apparently unaware of the danger he is in. Dave, meanwhile, becomes frustrated by Dylan’s absence, while Liam continues to misunderstand the situation.

Dylan’s arrival reveals the danger

The situation changes when Dylan arrives and is petrified to see Dave.

Dave reveals that Dylan has informed the police about him, giving Liam reason to realise that this is not the game he thought it was.

Marlon and Chas then arrive, but their presence does not bring the confrontation under control. Dave knocks Marlon unconscious, escalating an already dangerous situation.

Liam and Chas attempt to talk Dave down, trying to prevent matters from getting any worse. However, Dave pulls a gun and guides Chas outside.

Chas is led outside at gunpoint

Dave’s decision to pull a gun marks a frightening escalation, leaving Chas in immediate danger as he takes her outside. Liam has gone from trying to interpret a clue to facing a situation he clearly did not understand when Dave first arrived.

With Dylan’s involvement exposed, Marlon unconscious and Chas being taken outside at gunpoint, the crisis leaves several villagers caught up in Dave’s dangerous actions.

Emmerdale airs on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
