Emmerdale Serena could betray Thea as Kim revenge plan goes too far
Emmerdale’s Serena becomes deeply uneasy as Thea manipulates Kim into trusting her, raising the possibility that her best friend could ruin everything.
Thea may finally believe she has Kim exactly where she wants her in Emmerdale, but her increasingly ruthless revenge plan could have one major weakness: Serena.
Coming up, Thea finds another way to make Kim believe she is on her side. However, once Kim is out of earshot, Serena learns more about what her best friend is actually doing and becomes deeply uneasy about where it could lead.
The situation develops after Kim is pulled over by police while driving.
Thea intervenes and manages to smooth things over, leaving Kim grateful for her help and increasingly convinced that she can trust her.
Once Kim has gone, another officer questions Thea about what she has done. Rather than appearing concerned, Thea seems satisfied that events have worked in her favour.
She later explains to Serena how she has managed to convince Kim that she is firmly on her side.
For Thea, gaining that trust gives her an opportunity to hurt the birth mother she believes abandoned her.
Serena's reaction is noticeably different. She knows how much anger Thea is carrying and becomes increasingly worried that her friend has no intention of letting her revenge campaign go.
The new scenes therefore place Serena in an interesting position because she knows both what Kim believes and what Thea is secretly planning.
