Emmerdale fans celebrate Robert Sugden’s scheming as Aaron gets caught up in The Hide deal
Emmerdale fans celebrate Robert Sugden’s scheming as Aaron Dingle gets caught up in his latest plans to acquire The Hide.
Robert Sugden is back to his scheming ways in Emmerdale, with his plan to acquire The Hide moving forward and Aaron Dingle learning more about his husband’s latest business move.
The storyline brings Robert’s determination to get what he wants into focus, while Aaron’s reactions add another layer to their relationship.
Robert has persuaded Gabby Thomas to sell him The Hide, with the money intended to help Nicola King.
Aaron witnesses Gabby and Laurel Thomas handing over the keys before Robert explains the deal to him. Robert promises that his scheming will stop once the transaction is complete, although he is also holding on to the £150,000 Jimmy King received, which Aaron has urged him to give to Nicola.
Robert has also appointed Serena Sugden as manager of The Hide and is preparing for the business to reopen. His latest venture gives him another opportunity to put his plans into action, even as Aaron tries to persuade him to do the right thing.
Robron fans have previously expressed their affection for Robert’s calculating side and the dynamic between the couple.
One online fan wrote: “Aaron approves and he knew exactly what Robert was up to. He knows his man so so well and let's be clear, the scheming is one of the things he loves about Robert.”
Another viewer commented: “I love that scheming businessman Robert is back. Aaron isn't a fan of some of Robert's more extreme past schemes but he is very indulgent of Robert's scheming in general.”
A third fan shared their enthusiasm for Robert’s return to this side of his personality, writing: “I love that scheming businessman Robert is back.”
These comments reflect the affection expressed by these fans for Robert’s mischievous personality and Aaron’s understanding of him.
With The Hide deal progressing and preparations for its reopening under way, Robert has plenty to keep him occupied. Aaron has made his feelings about the money clear, leaving Robert to balance his business ambitions against his husband’s concerns as their storyline continues.
