Emmerdale 11 to 16 October spoilers leave Matty packing his bags
Matty packs a suitcase as Samson’s return reopens painful wounds, while Vinny faces court and Sadie attempts to seduce Caleb.
Matty Barton appears ready to leave as Samson Dingle’s impending return from prison brings painful emotions back to the surface.
Sam and Lydia are increasingly excited about having Samson home again. When Cain arrives in a bad mood, Sam decides to keep the news of his return to himself.
Cain is already unhappy after seeing the meagre family turnout for Zak’s memorial, but the bigger disagreement soon develops around Matty.

Samson’s return reopens emotional wounds for him and battle lines are drawn between Moira and Sam and Lydia. Tensions remain high because Matty has moved into the room the couple had earmarked for Samson’s return from prison.
Moira meddles as the disagreement continues, but events eventually leave Matty appearing downstairs with a suitcase. She pleads with him not to move out, while Matty tells his mother that she needs to forgive Samson.
Vinny Dingle also faces an uncertain week as his court date arrives. Mandy invites him home for tea and he is amazed to discover the family gathered together to support him.

Mandy and Paddy later comfort a worried Vinny and try to reassure him that he will be back with them in no time. Vinny nevertheless remains scared when he eventually appears in court, while Mandy is later left struggling herself.
Elsewhere, Sadie King continues moving closer to the Miligans. Laurel angrily confronts her in the pub, before Sadie tells Ruby about a previous controlling relationship. Sadie later smiles to herself, pleased that she appears to have reeled Ruby in.

Joe Tate then asks Sadie to spy on the Miligans and obtain evidence that could destroy them. She initially has doubts, but desperation ultimately wins out.
Vanessa later lets a secret slip in front of Sadie, prompting her to push for more detail. Sadie then tries to get Caleb alone, but soon realises how difficult it will be to seduce him.

Joe has earlier been brought back to Home Farm drunk by Thea Ramsden, with Kim thanking Thea for being lenient with him.
He later appears carrying a brown briefcase as another plot begins.

Aaron Dingle is also surprised when an emotional Gabby and Laurel hand him some keys. Robert arrives, privately explains everything and promises to stop scheming when the deal goes through.
Robert later confidently questions whether Claudette Anderson is really as good as people claim, although he could be proved wrong.

Nicola King is also grateful for Bob Hope’s support, but Bob has received bad news of his own.
