EastEnders Vinny Panesar’s 30th Takes Dramatic Turn
Vinny celebrates his 30th birthday unaware Penny is about to go into labour, leaving Gina and Harry desperately trying to get him to the hospital in time.
Vinny’s 30th birthday becomes a day he will never forget in upcoming EastEnders scenes when Penny unexpectedly goes into labour.
Penny is determined to make the celebration special and works with the Panesars to arrange a party for her boyfriend. Vinny has supported her throughout the pregnancy, but Penny is secretly struggling with the knowledge that he may not be her baby’s biological father.
Her guilt becomes so strong that she considers confessing everything during his birthday. Lauren warns her that revealing the truth could cause unnecessary damage, but Penny remains determined to be honest.
Before she can speak to Vinny, everything changes. Penny’s waters break after she steps outside to clear her head, and she is rushed to hospital. Vinny remains back at his birthday party and is so worse for wear after celebrating that he initially has no idea what is happening.
Gina and Harry realise they need to get him into a fit state to reach Penny and attempt to sober him up. While Suki and Jack support Penny through labour, Vinny finally makes his way to the hospital. He arrives in time as Penny gives birth to their baby boy, turning his 30th birthday into an even bigger milestone.
The joyful moment does not erase Penny’s secret, however. Harry remains the other possible father, leaving a huge unanswered question hanging over Vinny’s new family.
