A shocking phone call, a difficult family meeting and a series of interrupted romantic encounters feature in EastEnders from 9–12 November 2026, as several Walford residents face problems they cannot ignore.
Linda Refuses to Accept What Janine Tells Her
Linda is shocked to discover Lee spent the night on Sean's floor after drinking too much, but her concerns deepen when she answers a call on his phone.
After seeking support from Elaine and Sharon, Linda confides in Max, only for Lee to cause a drunken scene in The Vic.
Her search for answers takes her to Janine, although Linda refuses to believe what she hears. She returns to the Square for a heart-to-heart with Max before they prepare to confront Janine again.
Max makes a decision he may regret, and by the end of the week he is drowning his sorrows in The Vic.
The Carters Face Another Difficult Day
Linda prepares to tell Lee, Nancy and Johnny what she has discovered, but the three disappear, leaving Linda and Max searching for them.
Linda eventually finds Nancy reflecting, and the pair share a heart-to-heart before Zack arrives and Nancy's waters break.
Johnny, Elaine and Zack take Nancy to hospital while desperately calling Linda and Lee. Meanwhile, Linda and Max find Lee intoxicated at Harry's Barn.
Lee also confides his worries about becoming a father, with Linda reassuring him that he will be a great one.
Ria's Biological Mum Wants to Meet Them
Sharon and Eve arrange a playdate with Ria and Albie in The Vic, but Eve becomes distracted when Ash arrives upset following news of her divorce.
Sharon takes the children to No.43 before Suki finds Ash and Eve tipsy in The Vic. She reveals Ria's biological mum, Harleen, wants to meet them, but Ash refuses after arguing with Suki about her lack of sympathy.
Eve eventually persuades Ash to attend Knight Fusion, where an already awkward meeting deteriorates when Suki and Ash argue in the kitchen. Harleen witnesses their disagreement.
Eve and Suki are devastated afterwards, while Ash urges them to see both sides of the situation. Sharon later encourages Suki to fight for Ria.
Lauren and Mark Cannot Escape Their Guilt
Lauren and Mark struggle with guilt following Ryder's attack as he grows closer to Ian. Their attempts to spend time together repeatedly fail, including an interrupted meeting at the Arches.
Yolande later orders Lauren back to the launderette after she fails to complete her work, leaving Mark locked in the Community Centre.
When Peter takes Louie and Jimmy away for a long weekend, Lauren tries to get Oscar and Cindy out of the house.
She and Mark eventually spend an evening at No.25, but Lauren becomes overwhelmed when their passionate encounter turns emotional.
Kat Takes Another Step in Her Grief
Elsewhere, Kat begins clearing out Zoe's room as she continues grieving, marking another difficult moment for her.
