Coronation Street Recap and Coming Up – Can Carla Save Underworld?
Coronation Street recap and coming up as Carla faces losing Underworld, Debbie reunites her friends and Kit discovers Bethany's pregnancy.
Coronation Street left Carla facing the possible loss of Underworld last week, while Kit struggled with his cancer treatment and Debbie prepared for a gathering with her closest friends.
Here’s what happened from 2–5 November and what’s coming up in the three episodes airing from 9–11 November.
What happened last week?
Idris stepped up his plans to take control of Underworld, persuading Brody to sabotage the factory. The damage left Carla devastated, particularly when she realised she could only guarantee her employees another month’s wages.
Leanne witnessed Brody entering the factory and confronted him, while Sally, Sean, Izzy and Michael faced the prospect of losing their jobs. However, Carla received an emotional show of support when her workers promised to help her rebuild the business.
Meanwhile, Gary became increasingly concerned about Marco’s treatment in prison. Ross continued intimidating Marco, even destroying a card sent by Summer.
Daniel confronted Adam over the school land deal, resulting in a street fight, while Kit’s chemotherapy left him struggling both physically and emotionally. Lisa urged him to take sick leave, but he reacted angrily.
Debbie also began discussing her future care with Ronnie, determined to make important decisions while she still could.
What’s coming up this week?
Debbie gathers the ladies together - Abi, Bernie, Christina, Sally and Glenda to create a photo book for Carl’s 40th birthday. Their afternoon together brings difficult memories and disagreements before the women eventually reconcile.
Debbie later announces her retirement, handing responsibility for the hotel to Ronnie and Ryan.
Carla faces further disappointment as her insurance claim looks increasingly uncertain. When she reveals plans to sell Underworld, Sally is heartbroken, while a guilt-ridden Brody threatens to expose Idris.
Kit collapses outside the tram station, bringing Sarah rushing to his aid. Their growing closeness becomes complicated when Sarah accidentally reveals Bethany’s pregnancy, unaware of Kit’s connection to the baby.
Elsewhere, Christina visits Richie in prison, Shona receives a threatening call on Jodie’s phone, and Sally worries about Lucy returning home.
Mary also faces a tearful goodbye when Tracy can no longer afford to employ her at the flower shop.
With Brody increasingly uncomfortable about Idris’s plans, could Carla finally discover who destroyed her business?
