Four episodes bring several major turning points to Walford from 24–27 August, with stories changing dramatically as the days progress. Denise’s health crisis introduces Darnell and Grace, Suki and Eve’s custody fears grow more serious, and Priya and Ravi finally decide what they want from their future.
Monday: Secrets, DNA and a worrying turn for Denise
The week begins with Priya and Jean trying to obtain DNA samples from Max and Ravi. At the same time, Amy overhears a new development in the investigation into Joel’s assault.
The biggest concern surrounds Denise, who is placed into a coma as her condition becomes more serious. Kim then makes a surprising discovery when she learns that Denise has a long-lost relative.
Tuesday: Darnell arrives as Suki gets devastating news
Kim’s discovery leads to Denise’s half-brother Darnell visiting her, but the experience quickly becomes overwhelming for him. His arrival brings a previously unknown part of Denise’s family into the middle of the crisis.
Elsewhere, Amy makes a move on Denzel but is rejected. Suki and Eve then receive a much bigger blow when they learn that Ria’s mum may seek custody, leaving them frightened about what could happen next.
Wednesday: New hope for Denise and celebrations begin
Kim and Jack begin pinning their hopes on Darnell and his daughter Grace. With Denise still seriously ill, the newly discovered relatives become increasingly important to those waiting for answers.
Meanwhile, Cindy asks Oscar to organise Max’s stag do, but Max is uneasy about the idea. Alfie also starts planning a Benidorm-themed party for Kat, hoping to bring a much lighter atmosphere to the Square.
Thursday: Love is declared before everything erupts
Priya and Ravi reach a major turning point when they confirm their love for each other. The couple start looking ahead to their future together after finally making their feelings clear.
Alfie’s Benidorm party then runs into immediate problems when a strict community officer shuts it down. The situation becomes far more serious when Ria is hurt, prompting Suki to threaten Kat with legal action as tensions erupt.
From family crisis to legal threats
Across the four episodes, Denise’s condition brings Darnell and Grace into Kim and Jack’s lives at a critical moment. At the same time, Suki and Eve move from worrying about a possible custody battle to dealing with an incident involving Ria herself.
Priya and Ravi provide one of the more hopeful developments as they finally look towards a future together. However, with Amy facing rejection, Max uneasy about his stag do and Kat caught in Suki’s anger, Walford remains anything but quiet.
