Muhammad Ali Returns to the Screen in New AI Film Available to Watch Free
A new AI-assisted Muhammad Ali film has premiered in The Bahamas and is available to watch free online. Find out about the film and where to watch.
Muhammad Ali’s extraordinary life has inspired a new feature-length film created using artificial intelligence, with audiences around the world now able to watch the production for free.
G.O.A.T.: Muhammad Ali’s Blueprint to Greatness premiered in Nassau, The Bahamas, on Thursday 29 October 2026, exactly 66 years after the boxing legend made his professional debut as Cassius Clay.
Written and directed by filmmaker T.M. Caufield, the historical docudrama combines extensive research, original screenwriting and AI filmmaking technology to explore Ali’s journey from a young boxer to one of the most recognisable sporting figures in history.
Rather than securing a conventional streaming deal, Caufield has chosen to make the film available directly through her website, allowing viewers internationally to access it without paying for a subscription.
Why the Film Premiered in The Bahamas
The decision to premiere the film in Nassau carries particular historical significance, connecting the beginning and end of Ali’s professional boxing career.
On 29 October 1960, an 18-year-old Cassius Clay fought his first professional contest against Tunney Hunsaker in Louisville, Kentucky. More than two decades later, Ali entered the ring for the final time on 11 December 1981, losing to Trevor Berbick in Nassau.
The new production returned his story to the location of that final fight, with a special screening at Fusion Superplex followed by a discussion involving Caufield and University of The Bahamas professor Monique Toppin.
The event explored both Ali’s legacy and the challenges involved in recreating historical figures using emerging filmmaking technology.

How Artificial Intelligence Was Used
Although AI plays an important role in the production, the film is built around human-led writing, historical research and creative direction rather than relying entirely on automatically generated material.
Caufield, a graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts and former Warner Bros. Fellow, has spent more than a year developing the project, combining traditional filmmaking principles with newer digital production methods.
The director also founded UAI Artists, an organisation supporting screenwriters and filmmakers interested in working with artificial intelligence.
Her approach places storytelling at the centre of the production, using AI technology to help recreate historical settings and bring scenes from Ali’s life to the screen.
