EastEnders spoilers 24–27 August: Denise coma and Suki custody threat

Coming up in EastEnders from Monday 24 to Thursday 27 August, Denise’s condition takes a worrying turn as she is placed into a coma, while Kim makes a discovery that could prove important. Elsewhere, Suki and Eve face fresh fears over Ria, and Priya and Ravi look towards a future together.

Priya and Jean attempt to get DNA samples from Max and Ravi, while Amy overhears a new development in the investigation into Joel’s assault. Denise is put into a coma, as Kim discovers the existence of a long-lost relative.

The discovery opens another avenue for the family at a crucial time. With Denise seriously ill, those closest to her are left hoping the unexpected family connection could make a difference.

Denise’s half-brother Darnell visits her, but he quickly becomes overwhelmed by the situation. Elsewhere, Amy makes a move on Denzel, only for him to reject her advances.

Suki and Eve are also left gutted when they discover that Ria’s mum may seek custody. The development puts another major worry in front of the couple as they consider what could happen next.

Kim and Jack pin their hopes on Darnell and his daughter Grace as Denise remains at the centre of the family’s concerns. Meanwhile, Max becomes uneasy when Cindy asks Oscar to organise his stag do.

Elsewhere, Alfie gets preparations underway for a Benidorm-themed party for Kat. His plans promise something very different from the heavier drama unfolding elsewhere in Walford.

Priya and Ravi confirm their love for one another and begin looking towards their future together. Alfie’s party does not go according to plan, however, when a strict community officer shuts it down.

Things become even more serious when Ria is hurt. Suki reacts by threatening Kat with legal action, adding another complication to the custody fears already hanging over her and Eve.
