EastEnders Slaters Face Fresh Blow as Jean, Mo and Lily Move

Jean, Mo and Lily face an already difficult day in upcoming EastEnders scenes as they pack their belongings and prepare to leave No.31.

The family have been evicted by Suki because of unpaid rent, leaving them with little choice but to move into The Vic with the Moons. It is another major upheaval for the Slaters, although Mo is determined to stop Lily becoming overwhelmed by what is happening.

As they prepare for their new living arrangements, Mo encourages Lily to look at the move as a fresh beginning. The trio head towards The Vic ready to start their next chapter and make the best of a difficult situation.

Their worries about cramped living arrangements and losing their home are suddenly put into perspective, however, when they discover that Zoe has died.

The devastating news immediately changes everything. Instead of arriving at The Vic simply as relatives in need of somewhere to live, Jean, Mo and Lily find themselves walking into a family dealing with unimaginable grief.

Kat is struggling to process the loss of her daughter, while Alfie knows the news must be shared with the rest of Zoe’s devastated relatives.

What was supposed to be a fresh start therefore becomes something completely different as the Slaters are brought together under one roof at one of the most painful moments the family has faced.

EastEnders continues on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
