Craig may be tightening his grip on Amy in EastEnders, but one member of her family is finally beginning to ask the right questions.

Coming up, Jack discovers Amy has been skipping school but accepts her explanation that Denise's illness is behind her behaviour.

Penny is less easily satisfied and starts pressing her sister for answers about her secret boyfriend.

Fans think Penny could uncover the truth

The development has already caught viewers' attention, particularly because Penny and Amy have had relatively little meaningful screen time together recently.

One viewer asked: “Why do I think Penny will find about Craig/Amy and Craig does something to her?”

Another said they were pleased to finally see Penny interacting properly with her sister again. That first prediction is only a fan theory, and there is no confirmation Craig will harm Penny.

What is confirmed is that Penny has reason to be suspicious.

Amy refuses to open up, while Craig later discovers Denzel's ID at his flat and demands access to Amy's phone to prove her loyalty.

Penny could therefore be approaching the truth just as Craig's controlling behaviour becomes harder to hide.

Whether she actually exposes him remains unknown, but bringing Amy's sister directly into the storyline feels significant. Craig has benefited from secrecy, and Penny is now actively looking for answers.
