EastEnders Penny Branning Baby Secret Is Overheard
Penny decides to keep quiet about her baby’s paternity, but somebody secretly hears her conversation with Lauren and later makes their presence known.
Penny believes she has made a final decision about her baby’s paternity in upcoming EastEnders scenes, but somebody else is about to take that choice out of her hands.
Following the birth of her son, Penny shares a private moment with Lauren. The pair discuss whether she still intends telling Vinny that he may not be the baby’s biological father.
Penny admits that she has changed her mind and intends keeping the truth to herself. Vinny has supported her throughout the pregnancy and Penny decides she does not want to destroy their family by revealing that Harry could actually be the father.
There is one major problem. Penny and Lauren believe they are alone, but an unseen person overhears every word of their conversation.
The situation becomes even more worrying the following day when Penny attends her baby’s Naam Karan ceremony. The mystery eavesdropper makes themselves known to her, confirming that somebody else now has the information she was desperate to keep secret.
Penny immediately panics about how far the truth could spread, but the encounter apparently brings another unexpected twist that raises the stakes even further.
After months of attempting to convince Vinny that he is unquestionably the father, Penny now has no control over who knows the truth or what they might decide to do with it.
