EastEnders Spoliers as Denise collapses and Amy is pulled closer to Craig

EastEnders has a difficult week upahead as Denise struggles with her cancer treatment and begins questioning whether she can continue, while Amy becomes increasingly caught up in her relationship with Craig.

Denise tries to keep going despite the toll her treatment is taking on her. She confides in Chelsea and Kim about how difficult things have become, while Phil encourages her to open up to Jack rather than carrying everything herself.

Her health eventually takes a frightening turn when she collapses during another argument between Suki and Ash. Ash immediately uses her medical experience to help, bringing Denise’s health crisis directly into the middle of the Panesar family conflict.

Amy, meanwhile, visits Craig at his home but is unsettled when he suggests that they should sleep together. Further questions emerge when she discovers he has permanently lost his police job, although Craig insists he has been treated unfairly.

Jack learns a very different version of events and tells Callum that Craig had been investigated for gross misconduct. Amy later tries to slow down the relationship, but Craig manipulates the situation, while her continuing difficulties with Jack ultimately push her back towards him.

Suki is also determined to discover what Ash has been hiding. She contacts Ash’s wife Gigi in Canada despite Eve warning her against pushing too hard, and Ash soon realises her mother has been investigating her life.

Attempts to repair their relationship fail, with Suki refusing to allow Ash to return to work at the surgery. Ash responds by persuading Nugget to employ her instead, creating another source of conflict between mother and daughter.

Money problems also threaten Harry’s Barn after Nicola discovers the business needs £25,000 to survive. A fundraising effort follows when bailiffs arrive, while Harry and Ned approach one of Ned’s former business contacts in their attempt to secure the money.

Lily has her own battle at home as she makes plans for university. Her determination creates tension with Jean, and she later asks Harvey to support her at a college interview, causing another disagreement.

With Denise questioning her treatment, Amy becoming increasingly isolated and Suki’s determination to uncover the truth about Ash creating another family feud, several Walford relationships are being pushed towards breaking point.
