EastEnders fans fear for Amy as Craig discovers someone has been in his flat
EastEnders fans are worried about Amy Mitchell as Craig discovers evidence that others have been in his flat and Jack fails to grasp her real problems.
EastEnders viewers are increasingly worried about Amy Mitchell after her growing distance from her friends became harder to ignore, while Craig discovered evidence that other people had been inside his flat.
Tuesday's episode brought two worrying developments for Amy. Her friends were becoming concerned about her behaviour, but her father Jack still did not understand what was driving the change.
He had discovered that Amy was skipping classes and believed her struggles could be connected to Denise's illness, leaving him looking in the wrong direction while Craig's influence over Amy continued to cause concern.
Meanwhile, Craig discovering that someone else had been in his flat threatens to expose Amy's attempts to keep parts of her life separate from him.

Fans were vocal in the episode's online discussion. One viewer wrote: “Oh Amy I wish she would realise that Craig is manipulating her”
Another commenter questioned Amy's trust in her friend, saying: “Lily has snitched too many times yet Amy trusts her pls”
A third viewer was already thinking about the need for Amy's family to recognise what is happening, writing: “The sooner Jack and Phil find out about Craig the better”
The comments reflect the frustration of watching Amy become more isolated while the people closest to her struggle to identify the real problem. Jack's concern is genuine, but if he continues to focus on Denise's illness rather than Craig, he may miss the signs that his daughter needs help with her relationship.

Craig's discovery also raises the stakes because Amy's efforts to manage the situation privately are becoming more difficult. As more people notice that something is wrong, she may find it harder to explain away her behaviour without revealing details she has been trying to keep to herself.
EastEnders airs on BBC One and streams on BBC iPlayer.
