EastEnders Craig’s controlling behaviour alarms Amy
EastEnders puts Amy and Craig’s relationship under fresh strain when his controlling behaviour intensifies and he discovers something involving Denzel.
Craig’s relationship with Amy takes a more troubling turn in EastEnders as his behaviour becomes increasingly controlling. What began as a complicated romance now places Amy under growing pressure as Craig demands more of her attention.
Craig becomes increasingly unhappy when Amy’s focus is not completely on him, creating further tension between the pair. His behaviour begins to show another side to their relationship as his need for Amy’s attention becomes harder for her to ignore.

The situation escalates when Denzel becomes part of the story again. Craig discovers Denzel’s ID and also comes across a shirtless photograph of him, immediately giving him something else to focus on where Amy is concerned.
Denzel already represents a sensitive part of Amy’s life, making Craig’s discovery particularly significant. Amy previously tried to reconnect with Denzel before turning back towards Craig after being rejected, leaving plenty of unresolved history around the three characters.

Craig’s latest behaviour now threatens to bring those tensions back to the surface. Rather than simply dealing with his own relationship with Amy, he becomes increasingly focused on somebody who has previously been important to her.
The storyline also continues the concerns surrounding Craig that have already emerged during his time in Walford.
His relationship with Amy has repeatedly raised difficult questions, and his increasingly controlling behaviour adds another worrying dimension.

With Craig now in possession of something connected to Denzel, Amy could find herself facing even greater pressure. The discovery may prove particularly difficult to explain as Craig’s jealousy and need for control continue to intensify.
