Could Daniel’s campaign derail Idris’s plans in Coronation Street?
Daniel wants to stop the council selling school land in Coronation Street, but his campaign could bring him into direct conflict with developer Idris.
Daniel Osbourne is preparing to fight the council’s plans to sell spare school land in Coronation Street, unaware that his campaign could put him directly against Idris Nazir.
Last week, Daniel learned from Ken that Mrs Crawshaw had revealed plans for the council to sell the land to a wealthy developer.
Determined to protect the space for local children, Daniel decided to rally parents and launch a petition to stop the sale.

However, Idris has his own plans for the same site. He tells Alya that he wants to buy the land and asks her to act as his solicitor. Alya agrees, but later reveals to Adam that Idris is the developer Daniel is trying to stop.
The clash creates an interesting question about whether Daniel can persuade the council to reconsider its plans before Idris secures the land.

Daniel believes the site should benefit local children, while Idris is pursuing the opportunity to buy it. The coming dispute could reveal whether either man is prepared to compromise.
Alya’s involvement could make the situation even more complicated. She has agreed to represent Idris, but Daniel’s campaign means that the issue may soon affect people close to her. She will have to navigate her professional commitment while the dispute grows.

Daniel has begun building support, but a petition alone may not be enough to stop the sale. He will need to persuade the council that the land should be used for the community rather than sold to a developer.
Could Daniel’s campaign derail Idris’s plans, or will the developer find a way to secure the site despite growing opposition?
The battle could become personal once both men realise they are fighting for the same piece of land.
