Cassie's departure doesn't go to plan, Dylan's life hangs in the balance after a brutal attack, Kit uncovers an important breakthrough and Betsy faces more emotional challenges in another dramatic week on the cobbles. Here's everything that's ahead.

Cassie prepares to leave Weatherfield after announcing she has accepted a job on a cruise ship, saying an emotional goodbye to the children before setting off. However, her departure takes a worrying turn when Ross offers to give her a lift. Instead of taking her where she expects, he locks the car doors and drives away, leaving her future shrouded in uncertainty.

Meanwhile, Betsy is desperate to speak to Dylan but worries about how Lisa will react. Ryan steps in to help by asking Dylan to come over, hoping to put Betsy's mind at ease before Lisa arrives home. However, events soon take a devastating turn for everyone involved.

Lauren becomes convinced Dylan must be held accountable for what happened to Betsy and shares her feelings with Brody. Determined to confront him, Brody tracks Dylan down, but the situation spirals beyond anyone's expectations. Later, Nina discovers Dylan unconscious after he has been brutally attacked, and he is rushed to hospital, where doctors begin treating his injuries.

As concern grows over Dylan, Sean accuses Brody of carrying out the attack. However, Dylan insists Brody was not responsible, leaving everyone questioning who really assaulted him and why.

Elsewhere, Jay hands Kit the hard drive containing the data recovered from Gary's phone. Bethany is desperate for answers and demands to know what is happening, while Kit examines the information and makes a discovery that could finally help Sarah. Later, Kit finds Gary enjoying a drink in the Rovers and hints that he has had an interesting day before suggesting Gary calls round to the flat.

Betsy also faces another emotional setback when Lauren storms out and leaves her on her own. Left without any help, Betsy wets herself, making an already difficult recovery even harder. Lauren later apologises for leaving her, but it remains to be seen whether the pair can repair their friendship.

There are also difficult conversations for Asha and Sienna as they discuss Sienna's mum's dementia. Asha gently suggests that Sienna's mum may ultimately be happier living in a care home, although accepting that possibility is far from easy.

Ronnie continues supporting Debbie as she faces an uncertain future, promising to arrange a carer when the time comes. However, he privately admits to James that taking Debbie on holiday was a mistake, suggesting he is struggling to know how best to help her.

A new face also arrives on the Street when Tim picks up a fare at the precinct and is stunned to discover it is his cousin Richie, whom he has not seen for years. With Sally away, Tim invites Richie for a few drinks, setting the stage for an unexpected reunion.

Elsewhere, Fiz admits to Ross that she misses having Cassie around, unaware of the dramatic circumstances surrounding her departure.

From Cassie's mysterious exit and Dylan's brutal attack to Kit's breakthrough, Betsy's continuing recovery and fresh challenges for Debbie, Coronation Street is set for another week packed with twists and unanswered questions.
