Coronation Street Tim fears Richie is pressuring Lucy

Tim becomes increasingly worried about Lucy in Coronation Street as he reveals that Richie once tried to pressure him into making a serious allegation against Rachel.

Coming up, Lucy is dealing with the fallout from her recent behaviour after getting drunk and causing further concern for Tim and Sally. She apologises to Tim and promises that it will not happen again, but he remains troubled by what could be happening behind the scenes.

Tim later speaks to Lisa and opens up about his own experience with Richie. He explains that Richie previously tried to persuade him to tell police that Rachel had been abusive towards him. Tim refused, but the experience has left him wondering whether Richie could now be putting similar pressure on Lucy.

Lucy secretly overhears the conversation, meaning she becomes aware of exactly what Tim suspects. The situation becomes more tense when Tim follows Sally's advice and grounds Lucy for the rest of the week. Lucy reacts angrily to the punishment, adding to the strain inside the house.

Tim's concerns grow again when he later opens his wallet and discovers that £40 is missing. With Lucy already struggling after everything that has happened to her family, Tim is left trying to work out how best to support her while also questioning how much influence Richie may still have.

The revelation about Richie's previous behaviour gives Tim another reason to take the situation seriously, particularly as Lucy continues to maintain contact with her father.
