Coronation Street Spoliers as Jodie targets Doug and Sam’s secret explodes
Coronation Street next week sees Jodie target Doug, Sam confess his huge debt and fresh developments after Eva’s attack.
Coronation Street has another packed week coming up as the fallout from Eva’s attack continues, Jodie takes disturbing action against Doug and Sam is forced to admit the full extent of the financial mess he has created.
The investigation into what happened at the Rovers continues to cause problems for several Weatherfield residents. Carl comes under suspicion as Ronnie and Kevin wonder whether he could have robbed the pub and accidentally pushed Eva down the stairs, leaving Debbie struggling with the possibility that her own son could be responsible.

Carl is eventually questioned by the police and insists he had nothing to do with Eva’s injuries. However, Sam later admits responsibility for what happened, bringing another major development in a storyline that has already left Eva fighting to recover.
Away from the Rovers, Jodie continues manipulating the situation surrounding Doug. She searches through his belongings and secretly replaces his antipsychotic medication with ordinary painkillers, allowing his paranoia to worsen while those around him remain unaware of what she has done.

David and Shona become concerned when Doug takes a suspicious interest in the radio before hiding it away in a cupboard. Jodie, meanwhile, is pleased to see the effect her actions are having, raising further questions about how far she is prepared to go.
Sam finally tells Nick, Toyah and Leanne that he has been trading cryptocurrency using Nick’s identity and has taken out a credit card in his name, building up debts of more than £6,000.

Elsewhere, Betsy returns to the factory as she prepares for an important college interview, with mum Carla helping her build her confidence. Lucy also finds herself grounded by Tim following Sally’s advice, but another unsettling development comes when she overhears Tim talking to Lisa about Richie.
Tim reveals that Richie pressured him into telling the police that Rachel had abused him. He is now worried that Richie could also be putting pressure on Lucy, adding another worrying dimension to the mystery surrounding her behaviour.

Christina also attracts attention when Sally and Lucy visit the undertakers to arrange Rachel’s plaque. Sally produces family photographs, but Christina suddenly cuts the meeting short, leaving another question hanging over her reaction.
With secrets coming out, suspicions growing and Jodie deliberately interfering with Doug’s medication, Weatherfield is heading into a week where several storylines take significant steps forward.
