Daniel tries to stop a council land sale, Fiz confronts Ross and Ruby's boxing ambitions create tension in the Dobbs family.

Daniel refuses to accept the proposed sale

Daniel learns from Ken that Mrs Crawshaw has revealed plans for the council to sell spare land to a wealthy developer. He resolves to stop the sale, putting him on a potential collision course with those behind the proposal.

Fiz accuses Ross of sabotaging film night

Fiz confronts Ross and accuses him of deliberately sabotaging the family's film night. Her accusation puts Ross under pressure to answer for his behaviour, although no response or apology has been confirmed. The confrontation adds to existing friction following Ross's disapproval of Ruby's interest in boxing.

Ruby's plans spark a family disagreement

Ross forces Dorin and Tyrone to try boxing, but neither enjoys it. Fiz and Tyrone later explain that the girls have also had a go, and Ruby wants to take the sport up properly. Tyrone initially refuses, arguing that boxing is not for girls and that he does not want Ruby to get hurt.

Hope challenges Tyrone's attitude as sexist, and he eventually agrees to let Ruby go. Ross is disapproving, leaving the family disagreement unresolved.

Debbie puts Ronnie in an awkward position

Debbie accidentally calls Ronnie Darren when suggesting they head back to bed. Ronnie pretends to have a headache rather than confront her over the mistake.

Later, Debbie tells Denise's fiancé Stan that she has missed him and that her husband no longer fancies her, before Ronnie walks in and finds her flirting with Stan.
