Coronation Street spoilers reveal Celeste’s death, Nina’s Weatherfield exit, Debbie’s worsening dementia and a major breakthrough for Betsy.
Celeste’s death sends shockwaves through Weatherfield as Coronation Street launches a dramatic run of episodes. Her health deteriorates during an encounter with Gemma, who later tells Bernie that her aunt has died, before a devastating family secret emerges.
Ryan faces the difficult task of breaking the news to Todd, who later discovers Celeste wanted a shindig rather than a funeral. The celebration ends in a family row, while Gemma struggles with the fallout.
Nina also leaves Weatherfield for her new job in Whitby after farewell drinks with Asha, Amy and Summer. She shares an emotional goodbye with Abi in Seb’s memorial garden before departing.
Betsy faces highs and lows with Lauren. She is annoyed when Lauren spends her visit texting Ollie, but later stands for the first time since her stroke. A lunch outing ends badly when Betsy knocks cutlery over and a confused Debbie jokes that she is drunk.
Debbie’s dementia causes further concern when she accidentally wears her slippers to the hotel before later offering Bethany an Eighties makeover and nearly cutting her hair, forcing Maria to intervene.
Elsewhere, Ronnie considers stealing Idris’ car for gangster Fiona to settle his missing-gun debt, only for Idris to punch him and accuse him of theft.
Jodie asks Kit out after clashing with Bethany, while Shona worries about baby Harper and warns Kit about her sister.
