Coronation Street spoilers 24–28 August: Ollie arrest and Sarah’s weapon
Coronation Street spoilers for 24–28 August see Ollie arrested, Sarah make a prison weapon, Tim battle guilt and George decide his future with Christina.
Trouble escalates quickly in Coronation Street from 24–28 August as Ollie is arrested following a confrontation involving Christina and Jake. Sarah also takes drastic action behind bars, while Tim struggles with his guilt over Rachel’s murder and Lucy’s living arrangements come under scrutiny.
Ollie’s week takes a serious turn
Ollie begins by competing against Ben in an intense craft beer event, but events soon become far more serious. Christina gets drunk and teenager Jake throws water over her, prompting Ollie to become involved.
Ollie pushes Jake off Christina and is arrested for assault. By Friday, Jake is left feeling guilty after hearing that Ollie could be facing prison as a result of what happened.
Sarah makes a weapon in prison
Sarah prepares herself by creating a makeshift weapon using snooker balls inside a sock. The move comes as her situation behind bars remains tense and uncertain.
Her actions provide another dramatic prison development alongside Ollie potentially facing time behind bars himself. Both stories leave serious consequences hanging over the characters involved.
Tim’s guilt resurfaces
Tim admits he feels guilty over the murder of Lucy’s mum Rachel. At the same time, Lucy secretly contacts her imprisoned dad, who reminds her of their story.
Lucy later faces questions from a social worker about whether she is happy living with Sally and Tim. The conversation places her current home situation firmly under scrutiny.
George makes a decision about Christina
Christina has more than the incident with Jake to deal with when George returns after taking time to think. He tells Christina what he has decided about their relationship, leaving the pair facing an important moment.
Elsewhere, Maggie and Brian unexpectedly spend the night together. Their surprise encounter adds another relationship development to an already eventful few days.
Bernie revisits an old family rift
Celeste arrives and is revealed to be Bernie’s aunt, introducing another connection within the family. Bernie later opens up about a past rift between her mum and Celeste.
The revelation gives some background to their family history while the bigger drama continues elsewhere. With Ollie’s future uncertain and Lucy facing questions at home, there is plenty unfolding across Weatherfield.
