Will Sarah Discover Kit Is Bethany's Baby's Father in Coronation Street Next Week?

Sarah Barlow unknowingly brings her daughter's pregnancy secret closer to being exposed in Coronation Street next week when she reveals the news to Kit Green during an unexpected hospital encounter.

Bethany is pregnant following her encounter with Kit, who previously had a relationship with Sarah. Although Sarah knows her daughter is expecting a baby, she remains unaware of what happened between them.

The situation becomes more complicated when Bethany prepares for her pregnancy scan. With Sarah unavailable, Ryan offers to accompany Bethany to the appointment. His support comes as their relationship continues to develop, although the circumstances surrounding her pregnancy remain difficult.

Meanwhile, Sarah is at the hospital with Kit, having insisted that he gets checked following his collapse outside the tram station.

When they see Bethany and Ryan leaving the maternity department, Sarah realises she has forgotten her daughter's appointment.

She then tells Kit that Bethany is pregnant, completely unaware of the significance of what she has revealed. Kit is stunned, but Sarah has no reason to suspect that her former partner has a personal connection to the pregnancy.

The situation raises difficult questions about what happens when the truth finally emerges. Sarah has remained involved in Kit's life during his cancer treatment, while also trying to support Bethany.

Ryan's position is equally complicated because he is becoming increasingly involved with Bethany without knowing the full circumstances.

For viewers, the central question is no longer simply who fathered Bethany's baby, but how Sarah will react when she discovers that two people close to her have concealed their encounter.

Kit now knows about Bethany's pregnancy, but whether he confronts her or keeps the information to himself has not been confirmed.

Coronation Street continues on ITV1 and ITVX.
