Coronation Street spoilers 2–5 November 2026 as Carla closes factory and Kit clashes with Lisa

Carla faces devastating news in next week's Coronation Street when she is forced to close Underworld, leaving her employees facing an uncertain future. The announcement follows a suspicious visit to the factory by Brody and an unexpected interruption during an important business meeting.

Elsewhere, Daniel and Adam come to blows over the sale of school land, Summer grows worried about Marco in prison, and Kit reacts angrily when Lisa tells him to take sick leave. Debbie also begins a difficult conversation about her long-term care, while Christina hopes to arrange a meeting with Richie.

Carla's business faces a devastating setback

Carla and Michael are pleased with how an important business meeting is progressing, but things take an unexpected turn when their client heads to the toilet.

Idris stops the man, raising questions about what he intends to discuss and whether his intervention could affect the meeting.

Elsewhere, Brody checks that the coast is clear before letting himself into the deserted factory. However, he is unaware that Leanne is watching him.

Sally later finds Carla and Lisa in the Rovers and tells them that the factory alarm is sounding.

With Brody having entered the building, there are questions about what he has been doing inside.

The situation becomes even more serious when Carla informs her shocked employees that she has no option but to close the factory.

She explains that she can only pay them one month's wages, leaving the workers facing an uncertain future.

However, Carla receives some welcome support when Sean, Izzy and Michael join her in the Rovers.

The three employees tell Carla that they will do anything they can to help get the factory running again, offering her some encouragement following the devastating announcement.

Daniel and Adam come to blows

Daniel is furious when he discovers that Adam and Idris are involved in the sale of school land.

He confronts Adam, demanding an explanation for his part in the deal, but Adam insists that he could not afford to turn down the business.

Daniel is far from satisfied, and their argument escalates into a physical fight in the street.

Ken and Amy are horrified when they discover what is happening, while Tyrone steps in to pull the two men apart.

However, the confrontation leaves Adam with another problem when he reveals that he is due in court.

Tyrone points out that Adam cannot possibly attend wearing a ripped suit covered in blood, leaving him needing to sort himself out before his appearance.

Summer fears Marco is being bullied

Summer arrives at the prison with Maria, hoping to see Marco, but their visit ends in disappointment.

A guard informs Summer that Marco is refusing to come out of his cell, leaving her upset and concerned.

Gary becomes worried that Marco may be experiencing bullying, although Maria begs him not to get involved.

Her concerns are followed by an unpleasant encounter when Ross visits Marco and spots a card sent by Summer.

Ross picks up the card and deliberately tears it into pieces, leaving Marco distressed.

When Gary discovers how upset Marco is, he angrily confronts Ross about his behaviour.

However, Ross dismisses Gary's criticism and makes it clear that he considers himself the person calling the shots.

Kit's health sparks growing concern

Kit arrives home to find Gemma and Bernie discussing the BRCA gene again, as his family continue dealing with concerns surrounding his health.

Dev notices that Kit could do with a break and suggests they go out for a curry.

Kit appreciates the invitation, while Dev hopes to persuade him to be more understanding of Bernie's overprotective behaviour.

However, the situation becomes more concerning when Kirk tells Bernie, Brody and Dev about Kit's behaviour.

Brody points out that Kit is undergoing chemotherapy and needs to be careful.

Lisa also becomes concerned about Kit continuing to work and tells him that he needs to go on sick leave.

Kit reacts furiously to the instruction, making it clear that he is unhappy about being told to step away from his duties.

Debbie wants to discuss her future care

Debbie raises a difficult subject with Ronnie when she tells him that they need to discuss her long-term care.

She wants to have the conversation while she is still able to make decisions for herself, rather than leave the arrangements until a later stage.

However, Ronnie is heartbroken by the thought of Debbie eventually needing long-term care.

The couple are left facing an emotional conversation about what Debbie wants for her future.

Christina writes to Richie

Christina shows George a letter she has written to Richie, hoping he will agree to let her visit him.

She wants the opportunity to meet Richie and find out what sort of man he really is.

Writing the letter gives Christina a way to approach Richie directly, although whether he will agree to see her is another question.

George is shown what Christina has written as she considers taking the next step towards arranging a meeting.

Chesney refuses to acknowledge Tyrone

Tyrone is hurt when Chesney deliberately ignores him as they encounter one another in the street.

However, Fiz is far from sympathetic and believes Tyrone deserves the treatment he is receiving.

The uncomfortable encounter leaves Tyrone dealing with another difficult situation, alongside his involvement in separating Daniel and Adam during their fight.
