Coronation Street Spoilers 17–21 August: Biggest Stories

Sarah’s prison nightmare intensifies, Idris takes a dangerous gamble at Speed Daal and Nina faces a huge decision in another packed week on Coronation Street.

Sarah confides in Todd after fellow prisoner Kacey demands that Kit helps her son, who has been arrested on suspicion of armed robbery. Sarah initially refuses, determined not to jeopardise Kit’s career, but Kacey’s threats soon become physical. Todd gets Kit involved, leaving him facing an impossible situation.

Harry is also struggling without Sarah. Adam persuades him to attend Little Big Shotz, but trouble erupts when Jake taunts him and Harry damages his headphones. Glenda and Bethany help out, while Adam tells Kit that Harry needs more support. Adam also meets newcomer Lottie at the holiday club.

At Speed Daal, Alya wants £50,000 from Idris. Leanne lends him £5,000, but Idris secretly organises a poker game with Ollie and Lauren to raise more. Fiona ups the stakes, Kit joins the game and Brody helps himself to alcohol before Ollie eventually wins. Leanne is furious when she discovers how her money was used.

Lucy receives an apology from Lily, who opens up about losing Kylie, but Lucy remains desperate to see Richie. Sally and Tim are then told Social Services could find Lucy new foster parents, while Richie separately pressures Tim to support his claim that he acted in self-defence.

Elsewhere, George and Christina clash over her spending, with Todd, James and Sean offering support. Todd also meets Celeste and her driver Fraser, who attracts Glenda’s attention before Todd learns Fraser is gay.

Will discusses his GCSE results with Ben, while Nina returns from Whitby convinced her gallery interview went badly. Instead, Roy watches as Nina discovers she has been offered the job.
