Coronation Street spoilers for 17–21 August 2026 see Sarah threatened by Kacey, Todd meet mysterious Celeste and Tim face pressure from Ritchie.
Sarah’s nightmare behind bars becomes increasingly frightening as Kacey steps up her threats, while Todd returns from Thailand and soon finds himself caught up in a curious new situation involving Celeste. Elsewhere, Tim faces a difficult decision over Ritchie, Idris takes a major gamble and Lucy’s future remains uncertain.
Monday 17 August
Todd returns from Thailand and quickly makes up with Sarah, but their reunion takes a worrying turn when she reveals that fellow inmate Kacey is blackmailing her.
Meanwhile, Shona and Sally take Lily and Lucy out so the girls can make amends. Lily apologises to Lucy and explains that her own mum is also dead, reassuring her that she understands some of what she is going through. Elsewhere, George uninvites Christina from his upcoming trip to Somerset.
Tuesday 18 August
Sarah asks Kit for help with the blackmail, but he points out that she ended their relationship and tells her she is on her own. Kacey’s threats then turn violent, while Adam suggests Harry could live with him after Kit lets the youngster down.
At Speed Daal, Idris secretly arranges a poker night in an attempt to win enough money to buy the restaurant. He tells Ollie and Lauren that Alya and Leanne must never find out. Meanwhile, Lucy lashes out when Tim refuses to let her call Ritchie.
Wednesday 19 August
Kacey continues terrorising Sarah and tells her that if anything happens to Harry, it will be Sarah’s fault.
A mysterious woman named Celeste approaches Todd, telling him she would like to arrange a funeral and suggesting they discuss it over a drink. Idris’s poker game also gets under way, with players eliminated one by one before Ollie and Fiona battle it out, and Ollie ultimately wins.
Elsewhere, Tim and Sally discover that Lucy will be meeting prospective new foster parents.
Thursday 20 August
Glenda lands a date with Celeste’s driver, Fraser, while Leanne discovers what Idris has been doing and confronts him for gambling with her money. Idris insists her cash was never actually at risk because he had fixed the game and cheated.
Tim receives a visiting order from Ritchie, but their relationship deteriorates further when his cousin asks him to back up his self-defence story and lie to the police. Tim refuses and the pair fall out.
Friday 21 August
Glenda tells Todd off for drinking too much since returning from Thailand, and Todd starts plotting how to get his own back. He then discovers Fraser is gay, while Celeste reveals something else that gives Todd an idea.
Shanice and Joanie arrive home from Spain and meet Lucy, who remains anxious while her dad is in prison. After an incident leaves her rattled, Tim reassures Lucy that she is safe at home with him and Sally.
Elsewhere, Nina receives an offer for a new job at an art gallery in Whitby.
