Coronation Street sees Carl blamed for Eva’s fall and Lucy hears Tim’s confession

Coronation Street continues this week with the fallout from Eva’s cellar fall creating fresh suspicion around Carl, while Lucy overhears a revealing conversation about Richie.

Kit questions Debbie and Carl about what happened to Eva. Ronnie and Kevin become convinced Carl may have robbed the Rovers and accidentally pushed Eva down the stairs while trying to get away.

Their suspicion puts Debbie in an awful position. She is left trying to decide whether she believes her son as questions continue about exactly what happened inside the pub.

Elsewhere, Lucy is nursing the effects of her recent drinking when she overhears Tim speaking to Lisa about Richie. Tim reveals that Richie previously pressured him to tell police that Rachel had been abusive towards him.

Tim is now worried Richie could be putting the same pressure on Lucy. What Tim does not realise is that Lucy is listening to the conversation and hearing exactly what he thinks may be happening.

Betsy also returns to the factory as she looks for some sewing practice ahead of her college interview. Carla is there to support her as she prepares for an important opportunity outside the factory.

Monday’s episode therefore pushes several current mysteries forward at once, with Carl under suspicion and Lucy learning more about the concerns surrounding her father.
