Coronation Street Debbie fears Ronnie affair after mystery embrace
Debbie fears Ronnie is seeing someone else before Abi catches him embracing another woman, but Ronnie may be hiding something very different.
Debbie begins to suspect that Ronnie could be seeing another woman in Coronation Street, before Abi witnesses a meeting that appears to give her fears more weight. However, what she sees may not tell the whole story.
The concerns begin after Ronnie thanks Ryan for finding Debbie some work and helping to keep her occupied.
Debbie notices the conversation and becomes suspicious that the two men are discussing her behind her back, adding to her growing fears about how much control she still has over decisions affecting her life.
Debbie later confides in Abi and reveals that she believes Ronnie is seeing somebody else. She also fears that her husband could be planning to put her into a care home, leaving her questioning both their marriage and what Ronnie may be arranging without telling her.
Abi then sees something that makes the situation look even more suspicious. While passing Victoria Garden, she spots Ronnie with his arms around another woman, immediately raising questions about who she is and why the pair are together.
Debbie’s suspicions come after she has repeatedly made clear how much Ronnie’s support means to her following her dementia diagnosis. The possibility that he could be hiding something therefore threatens one of the relationships she has relied upon most heavily.
Abi is now in the uncomfortable position of having witnessed Ronnie with another woman after already hearing Debbie’s fears.
Whether she tells Debbie what she saw, and what Ronnie is really hiding, could determine what happens next.
