Coronation Street Catch-Up as Sarah Walks Free, Debbie Hurts Ronnie and Sally Faces Halloween Terror

Sarah was found not guilty of Theos murder in Coronation Street during 19–23 October, while Debbie's dementia continued to affect her marriage to Ronnie and Bernie received an important genetic test result.

Coming this week, Carla and Lisa support Sally through a frightening Halloween ordeal, Idris sets his sights on Underworld and Tyrone's anger leads to violence.

Sarah Walks Free but Kit Keeps His Distance

Sarah finally received the verdict she'd been waiting for when the jury found her not guilty of murdering Theo. Her family gathered around her in relief, with the result bringing an end to a frightening period of uncertainty.

However, Sarah still had concerns about Kit, who is undergoing treatment for breast cancer. She offered to support him, but he remained dismissive, making it clear that their relationship was far from repaired.

Debbie's Dementia Creates More Heartache for Ronnie

Debbie's dementia continued to cause painful moments in her marriage when she accidentally called Ronnie by Darren's name during an intimate conversation. Ronnie was visibly hurt but pretended to have a headache rather than explain his reaction.

The situation became more uncomfortable when Debbie snapped at Ronnie during a conversation involving Carl. Paula was also watching events unfold, adding another complication to an already difficult situation.

Debbie began worrying that Ronnie no longer found her attractive. After drinking wine with Stan, she flirted with him, only for Ronnie to walk in and discover them together.

Coming this week, Paula takes advantage of Debbie's confusion at the hotel. She persuades Debbie to hand over the key to a room Adam has booked for a surprise proposal to Alya.

Debbie is horrified when she realises what she's done, while Adam is furious that his plans have been disrupted. Fortunately, he eventually gets the opportunity to propose, and Alya accepts as their family and friends celebrate.

Bernie Receives Her BRCA Test Result

Bernie received a hospital letter confirming that she carries a BRCA gene variant, which is associated with an increased risk of certain cancers. The result left her frightened, particularly with Kit already facing breast cancer treatment.

Rather than immediately sharing the news, Bernie tried to conceal her distress from Dev and Kit. Her reaction showed how difficult it was to process information that could have implications for other members of her family.

Ross Causes Trouble for Tyrone's Family

Ross continued pushing Tyrone and Dorin towards boxing, although neither appeared particularly enthusiastic. When Ruby expressed an interest in taking up the sport, Tyrone initially refused because he believed boxing wasn't suitable for girls.

Hope challenged his attitude, accusing him of sexism. Tyrone eventually changed his mind, but Ross was unhappy with the decision.

Fiz also confronted Ross over his behaviour during a family film night, accusing him of deliberately spoiling the occasion.

This week, Tyrone becomes worried when he discovers a bruise on Dorin, who claims Aled punched him. Ross encourages Tyrone to confront Chesney and Gemma about the alleged bullying.

The disagreement escalates when Ross deliberately stirs up trouble between Tyrone and Chesney. Determined not to appear weak, Tyrone punches Chesney, leaving Fiz to remind him that he owes an apology.

Carla and Lisa Support Sally During Halloween Terror

Sally's problems with Lucy continue when the youngster contacts social services after Sally refuses to let her attend Kayla's Halloween party without parental supervision.

Social worker Ruth visits Sally and Tim, revealing that Lucy has been keeping a journal containing accusations that Sally is controlling and says unpleasant things behind her back. The allegations leave the couple shocked.

Carla and Lisa become involved when Sally experiences a frightening series of events around Halloween. After hearing noises outside and spotting what appears to be a ghost at the window, Sally confides in the couple about her fears.

Lisa attempts to reassure Sally, but the situation becomes increasingly unsettling when the landline rings without anyone answering.

A power cut plunges the street into darkness, and Sally is terrified when a mysterious figure appears behind her. She grabs a vase and strikes the person over the head, unaware of their identity.

Idris Sets His Sights on Carla's Factory

Carla also faces a potential business challenge when Idris begins showing an interest in Underworld.

Their first encounter is hardly promising. Carla confronts Idris after he parks his car too close to hers, and although he attempts to charm her, Lisa quickly senses that her wife isn't impressed.

With his proposed bistro deal no longer going ahead, Idris tells Leanne that he may consider buying Carla's factory instead. Leanne warns him that Carla is unlikely to sell.

Carla has built her reputation as a formidable businesswoman, and Idris may discover that acquiring Underworld is considerably more difficult than he expects.

Daniel Fights for the School

Daniel was furious to learn that Mrs Crawshaw was considering selling council land associated with Weathy High to a wealthy developer. He told Ken that he intended to oppose the proposal.

This week, Daniel and Amy distribute flyers as part of their campaign, but their petition fails to attract the response they'd hoped for.

Ken encourages Daniel to write an article for The Gazette, suggesting that publicity could be more effective than the petition.

Bethany Faces Pregnancy Questions

Bethany's health becomes a concern when Ryan visits the flat and finds her looking pale and exhausted. She claims she's hungover but rushes to the bathroom to be sick.

Ryan notices folic acid tablets in her bag and asks whether she's pregnant. Bethany confirms that she is expecting a baby but lies about the father's identity.

Elsewhere, Summer learns that Marco has been sent to prison following his court case. Despite the outcome, she intends to stand by him.

Lucy Confronts Christina

Lucy shows Christina family videos that raise concerns about Richie's treatment of Rachel. The footage leaves Christina troubled, particularly as Lucy continues asking questions about her family.

Lucy later notices that Christina has a photograph of her mother attached to her keyring. She confronts Christina at the undertakers and demands an explanation.

Meanwhile, Brian receives his missing book through the Kabin letterbox, bringing another unexpected development to the cobbles.
