Betsy faces a nerve-racking college interview after struggling back at the factory in upcoming Coronation Street scenes.
Betsy takes another big step towards rebuilding her future in Coronation Street as she prepares for a college interview.
Coming up, Betsy heads back to the factory as she tries to get herself ready for the interview ahead. She is keen to practise and regain some confidence, but being back at the sewing machine proves more difficult than she hoped.
When Betsy starts struggling, Sean notices and offers to help her. The setback is frustrating, but it does not stop her from continuing to push forward.
Betsy has already had to rethink her plans after her health problems disrupted the future she had imagined for herself. A fashion course in Manchester has now given her another possibility, and the interview becomes an important chance to move towards that goal.
The following day, Lisa accompanies her daughter as the nerves begin to set in. For Betsy, the interview is about much more than getting onto a course. It gives her the opportunity to start looking beyond everything that has happened and focus again on what she wants from her life.
Lisa remains firmly behind her as Betsy faces the next challenge, but ultimately it is Betsy who has to walk into the interview and prove to herself that she is ready to keep moving forward.
After a difficult period of recovery and uncertainty, the college opportunity could offer Betsy the fresh start she has been looking for.
