Celebrity Traitors final: how to watch tonight after James Acaster's roundtable confession

The Celebrity Traitors reaches its final tonight, Friday 30 October, with Maya Jama and King Kenny still hiding among the Faithfuls following James Acaster's extraordinary confession during Thursday's episode.

The BBC One series concludes at 8pm with an extended 80-minute episode, bringing an end to weeks of murders, accusations and banishments as the remaining celebrities compete to win up to £100,000 for their chosen charities.

Thursday's penultimate episode saw three celebrities leave the competition, including James, whose unexpected admission at the roundtable exposed his true identity before the other contestants voted to banish him.

James Acaster Confession Shocks Celebrity Traitors

The episode began by resolving the previous week's cliffhanger, which had left Sharon Rooney and Joanne McNally facing a tied roundtable vote.

King Kenny held the deciding vote, strengthened by the double-vote advantage of his dagger, and chose to banish Joanne. However, the decision proved costly for the Faithfuls when Joanne revealed she had been one of them all along.

Sharon's hopes of reaching the final were then ended when the Traitors selected her for murder, leaving the remaining Faithfuls with another difficult task as they tried to identify those responsible.

Suspicion eventually turned towards James, particularly as questions continued over the earlier murder of Ross Kemp. Struggling to defend himself at the roundtable, James admitted he was a Traitor before the group voted to send him home.

His departure leaves Maya and King Kenny as the final two Traitors, although neither has been exposed to the remaining Faithfuls.

Who Is Still in Celebrity Traitors?

Seven celebrities remain heading into tonight's final, with Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Michael Sheen, James Blunt, Sebastian Croft and Romesh Ranganathan representing the Faithfuls.

Maya and King Kenny are the two remaining Traitors, but they still have an opportunity to murder another contestant before the final stages of the competition begin.

Their position is particularly interesting following James's confession, which has given the Faithfuls confirmation that at least one Traitor had been operating within their trusted group.

Can the Faithfuls Finally Win?

The celebrities are competing for a charity prize worth up to £100,000, with the final outcome depending on whether the Faithfuls successfully identify and eliminate every remaining Traitor.

If the Faithfuls remove both Maya and King Kenny, the surviving Faithfuls will share the prize money for their chosen charities. However, if a Traitor survives until the game ends, the Traitors will claim the prize instead.

With five Faithfuls still competing against two Traitors before the final murder is resolved, the closing episode will test whether the group has learned enough from James's departure to avoid another costly mistake.

What Time Is Celebrity Traitors on Tonight?

The Celebrity Traitors final airs tonight, Friday 30 October, at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, with the extended episode scheduled to finish at 9.20pm.

Ed Gamble will then host a special 40-minute edition of The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked, featuring Claudia Winkleman and the finalists as they look back at the competition and discuss the final result.

With James exposed and two Traitors still competing for the prize, the remaining Faithfuls face one final opportunity to work out who has been lying to them before the series reaches its conclusion.
