Benidorm Pride 2026: Dates, Parade Route and Where to Stay

Benidorm Pride returns from 1 to 6 September 2026, bringing almost a week of LGBT events to one of Spain's most popular destinations with British holidaymakers.

The festival combines a major Pride parade with pool parties, live entertainment and nights across Benidorm's established LGBT scene. With Levante Beach, the Old Town and a huge choice of accommodation all close together, visitors can easily combine Pride with a late-summer Costa Blanca holiday.

When is Benidorm Pride 2026?

Benidorm Pride begins on Tuesday 1 September and continues until Sunday 6 September. The first two nights focus heavily on parties around the Old Town before the programme expands into larger venues later in the week.

Thursday 3 September includes the official pool party at MARAKKA, followed later by Ñ Divas Disco at Auditori Julio Iglesias. The official Benidorm Pride programme confirms Divas Disco is returning following its previous reception, while performers announced for the wider 2026 celebrations include Kika Lorace and La Prohibida.

Friday 4 September brings the White Party at Auditori Julio Iglesias, followed by an after-party at Rockstar. Saturday then becomes the centrepiece of the festival with the main parade and Main Stage celebrations.

The week concludes on Sunday 6 September with closing events around the Old Town. That gives anyone staying for the full festival several days of activity rather than having everything concentrated into one afternoon.

Benidorm Pride 2026 parade route

The main parade takes place on Saturday 5 September and is scheduled to begin at around 4.30pm.

The procession starts around the Rincón end of Levante Beach before travelling along the seafront and through the city. Organisers and current local information say the parade will feature multiple floats before celebrations continue at Auditori Julio Iglesias.

The Main Stage follows the parade with DJs and live performances. Entry to the parade itself is free, making the Saturday afternoon celebrations accessible even to visitors who have not purchased tickets for other events during the week.

Levante's long beachfront gives the parade a very different setting from city-centre Pride routes. Visitors can spend the earlier part of the day around the beach before joining the crowds along the route later in the afternoon.

Benidorm's Old Town LGBT nightlife

The Old Town remains one of the most important parts of Benidorm Pride because it already contains an established LGBT nightlife scene throughout the year.

Bars and venues around the area take part in Pride events during the week, particularly on the opening and closing nights. That means visitors are not dependent solely on the official ticketed programme when deciding where to go after dark.

It also makes the area useful for travellers arriving before Pride or extending their trip afterwards. Unlike destinations where LGBT nightlife appears mainly around a major annual event, Benidorm has an existing scene that continues throughout the year.

That mix is one of the reasons Pride works particularly well here. The festival adds larger events and a major parade without having to create an LGBT nightlife area temporarily for one weekend.

Where to stay for Benidorm Pride

For anyone travelling mainly for the nightlife, accommodation around the Old Town puts many LGBT venues within easy reach. It also gives visitors convenient access to restaurants and the historic centre without needing to arrange transport after a night out.

Levante is another practical base, particularly for travellers who want more of a traditional beach holiday alongside Pride. There is a huge concentration of hotels and apartments around the area, while the main parade passes along Levante Beach.

Staying between Levante and the Old Town can offer a good compromise between beach access and nightlife. Benidorm is compact enough in its central areas that many visitors can move between the two on foot.

Anyone booking specifically for Pride should expect the most convenient accommodation to become more limited as the festival approaches. Choosing a cancellable rate can make sense for travellers who want to secure somewhere central while retaining some flexibility.

Benidorm Pride works because visitors do not have to choose between attending Pride and having a normal holiday. Beaches, nightlife, hotels, restaurants and the festival all sit within the same resort, making it one of the easiest major European Pride trips to combine with some late-summer sun.
