Atlanta Pride 2026 Is Throwing a Party Inside an Aquarium
Atlanta Pride 2026 brings an aquarium party, huge free festival and one of the South’s biggest LGBTQ+ parades to Georgia this October.
The official Atlanta Pride kickoff takes place on Friday 9 October 2026, from 7pm until 11pm, transforming Georgia Aquarium into a spectacular LGBTQ+ celebration.
The evening brings together music, dancing and community spirit, with four DJs performing throughout the venue and visitors able to explore the aquarium's marine exhibits after hours.
The Friday night celebration provides an opportunity for LGBTQ+ people and allies to come together ahead of the main festival. With music from DJ Russ Rich, DJ TDON, DJ Seth Breezy and DJ Goonz, the event promises an energetic start to a weekend dedicated to visibility, equality and community.
Atlanta Pride continues on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October 2026, with the main festival taking over Piedmont Park.

One of the largest LGBTQ+ celebrations in the United States, the annual event attracts more than 350,000 people and brings together live entertainment, community organisations, performers and campaigners.
The festival remains free to enter, helping ensure that everyone has an opportunity to participate in the celebrations.
Saturday's programme includes the Trans March, while the main Atlanta Pride Parade takes place on Sunday 11 October, from 12pm until 5pm, bringing thousands of participants and spectators together for the weekend's biggest public celebration.
Beyond the performances and festivities, Atlanta Pride provides an important platform for LGBTQ+ organisations, local charities and advocacy groups.
The weekend celebrates the community's achievements while highlighting the continuing importance of equality, representation and solidarity across Georgia and the wider United States.
